"STORE," a multipurpose container made of ABS resin with a urethane coating, was released in 2017 by "SEKISAKA," a brand that proposes new possibilities based on manufacturing techniques derived from the lacquerware industry and is part of Sekisaka Lacquerware, a company that has been producing lacquerware in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture for approximately 300 years. The design was created by the design studio "Industrial Facility" by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin. The traditional lacquered bowl is elongated vertically, and the wooden lid adds a new function. This multipurpose container can be used in a variety of settings, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and offices. Its unified earth color scheme makes it easy to combine with other colors and sizes. It comes in a box, making it an ideal gift.
