Mass-produced yet highly artistic small sculptures
These napkin rings, released by the Danish company Bodum in 1987, were a collaborative work between Nathalie Du Pasquier, one of the founders of MEMPHIS, and Aumi Han, who would later join Shiro Kuramata's design studio. Their form, typical of the 1980s, the height of postmodernism, instantly brightens up any table. Their unique design and the lustrous finish of stainless steel are a perfect match, and even when not used as napkin rings, they have an objet d'art feel, making them a delightful addition to any interior décor. While mass-produced, they are highly artistic and highly recommended.| Product name | Napkin Ring |
