This ice cream spoon, designed by Hisakazu Shimizu of "S&O DESIGN," not only strikes a chord with disposable wooden and plastic spoons, but also embodies the Japanese pursuit of virtue. Its matte finish creates a subdued texture, and the carefully polished spoon feels incredibly smooth in the mouth. Unlike wooden spoons, it has just the right weight, allowing the ice cream to quickly cool down, resulting in an exquisite texture. It's also excellent for use as a butter knife or jam spoon, in addition to ice cream.
