Glassware you'll want to use every day
Jena Glass was the first to produce heat-resistant glass in Germany in 1920. Led by Wilhelm Wagenfeld, a leading Bauhaus designer, the company has produced numerous groundbreaking industrial products. Over the years, this product was discontinued over a decade ago, but in 2005, the molds and equipment were inherited and the Trend Glass Jena company re-produced this teapot in Germany and Hungary. This simple, compact teapot has a timeless form that can be used for a variety of teatime occasions, including black tea, herbal tea, and Chinese tea. You can also use it as a coffee pot by removing the strainer and placing your own coffee dripper inside.
*When adding tea leaves, the holes in the strainer are small, so the trick to doing it properly is to pour about half the amount of hot water into the pot, place the strainer with the tea leaves in it, and then add more hot water. This will prevent the strainer from clogging and make it easier to add hot water.
