By folding Pasco, a recyclable paper fiberboard developed in Europe, and fastening the four corners with Pasco of the same material, we have created a flatter, more environmentally friendly product. This design is inspired by the traditional Japanese "gori" (luggage) used to store documents, clothing, and other personal items. Because the body and lid are identical in shape, they can be used as two separate storage boxes. Pasco is a material used for shoe insoles, mailing boxes, trunks, and car interiors, and is extremely hard yet highly flexible. Conventional folding processes use creases to create creases. This inevitably leaves marks. The BENT series bends without creases, allowing for smooth, beautiful curves without leaving any marks. Furthermore, by changing the rubber on the back to cloth, it is now possible to use it with soft tissues in addition to the conventional paper tissue boxes. The simple design makes the most of the material's characteristics and unique texture. Because it is made of paper (Pasco), it is light and easy to carry.
