The "Glass Family" series of tableware is designed by the Italian company Alessi. While each glass is classified as a red, white wine, or water serving, it's not so formal that it necessarily needs to be used that way. It's incredibly well-made and appears delicate, but the glass gets thicker on the inside as it approaches the bottom. The middle of the glass appears to bulge slightly outward, but this is simply due to the thickness of the glass.
